Raphael !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the comments on the front page article. Why he didn't post it directly I'm not sure but this is the best picture so far and it looks excellent imo.

That's the best I've seen it look!

I love it and want it.

That's probably it's best angle. Still not my favorite but I'll need to see it irl

that greenhouse looks so insignificant compared to the presence below the beltline

I think that looks terrible.
I suspect this will be another Jeep Cherokee where in person, it's going to look great but in pictures it looks awful. The notch from the hip to the fastback looks bad, the car as a whole seems front biased which just looks weird, the front feels too droopy to me, the fog lights are ew .
I'm prepared to eat my words when it hits dealers, but for now I'm just not enthused.

This is SOOOOOOOOO much better than the picture with that nasty magazine fold in it, this is a beautiful car! I am no longer worried :)

The dismiss button is your friend. :D
As long as you don't engage any troll-ish comments you can have plenty of good discussion on the front page.

I really don't like how pedestrian crash regs have made every new car have a damn pug nose.
![]() 12/04/2013 at 11:26 |

Me neither but I think they've done a good job for what they're saddled with.

I need to know prices because it is good, I might get one instead of the 2003 Mach 1 o.o

Too bad it's such a bad colour, it would have had a much better reaction in a candy.

Soon...
(maybe tomorrow)

I almost said that, but....
I'll wait until I see one in person. I hated what they did to the Mazda6's nose, but after seeing and touching one (or several) in person, I kinda like it.

Well no shit lol, and anyway if its not good pricing I will get the Mach 1

Braking Bad my friend...you're entering a world of pain

Definitely looks WAAAAYYYY better in this photo! I am not making assumptions until official release info and pictures though.

I wonder if that tire/fender gap is legit. Seems low for a production Mustang. Overall, I like the looks of it.

I am liking where this puppy is going. I can't wait to see one in grabber blue, perhaps with a boss/mach 1 motif ala:

Does anybody else see a bit of the SRT Viper on the front end?
![]() 12/04/2013 at 12:07 |

I wonder if it'll be as hard to see out of the thing as the Camaro. Seems like the windshield and rear window aren't quite as gunslit-like.

Expect the 4 cyl turbo to cost about the same as the V6

Anyone else get the feeling that this is a style by comity mustang? I mean, I look at it and think; they promised new and fresh and modern, and its pretty much just a mustang that's been wind blasted. I get the impression that the designers and marketers fought bitterly over the idea of retro and modern and the result is....
Well, nothing that will really be a classic in 20 years. Pretty derivative and homogenized if you ask me.

I can see where you're coming from and in a way I agree with you but on the other hand I think they've done a good job catering to their audience.
I think they've made it different enough to be modern and get away from the retro styling a bit while at the same time maintaining the Mustang look to please current and past fans. That's a tough balance to hit.
Whether it will age poorly is another question. I don't know the answer to that either.

Looks like rearward visibility is going to be much improved.
![]() 12/04/2013 at 12:33 |

I'm assuming that may be the case

Not enough angles all roundness. The from is really looking bad. Like an overweight

You are right, and it will sell well, but great design this is not, its deigned to meet a target and nothing else. Great for sales, bad for history.
